Many of the of the students at Canada College are so overwhelmed with the Spanish that they learn that they make immediate plans, after taking one of our courses, to travel to a Latin American destination. The following is an album of Canada College students around the world who have traveled yet have still come back to Canada College to continue taking classes (There are quite a few pictures so it will take a minute or two to view them).
First we would like to congratulate Tammy, because of her success at work, she works for the TD Bank of Canada. Tammy started taking Spanish at Canada College about 6 months ago and her main goal is to be able to communicate with Spanish speaking people and meet "caballeros guapos" who could serenade her and treat her like a "reina".

Barbara works hard all year round for the Catholic School Board and this year she decided to get out of the Edmonton weather by going south of the boarder. Barbara has enjoyed her classes with us so much even though at first she would get her numbers mixed up, but we're sure she'll have no problem counting cervezas in Manzanillo. We wish you the best Barbara!
This is Derek and he is a young entrepreneur who lived and worked down in Honduras for a while until a hurricane put him out of business. However, being young at heart Derek did not let this get him down and is presently in Vancouver making plans to settle down in Mexico with his new Mexican fiancé, Gabriela, and look for new business opportunities. We wish you the best Derek and Gabriela on your future plans.
Andrea is a student that came from Chile to study English at Canada College. Andrea was a student here for more than 6 months and was studying English so that she could return to Chile and use the language for work. She likes watching T.V. and listening to music but she hates getting up early in the morning!
We wish you the best of luck Andrea!
This is Akiko and she also studied English here at Canada College with Andrea. These two became such good friends throughout their time with us that Akiko decided to go to Chile with Andrea to visit for a while. Akiko's plans were to stay in Chile until March, so if all is the same she should be going back to Japan soon. We figure that Akiko must be speaking more Spanish than when she left us, because all she could say was "quiero pollo con arroz y ensalada". We taught her this so she wouldn't starve. E-mail us soon Akiko!

Of all the students at Canada College, Paul was definitely one of the most interesting. He was born in main-land China, educated in Scotland and made Canada his home. He began studying Spanish at Canada College with an altruistic purpose in mind. Paul began collecting medicines so that he could take them to people in Cuba. Paul made many trips to Cuba and we hope he will continue to do so. Thank you Paul for your valiant effort in helping the people of Cuba.

This is Robin who has been with Canada College ever since the beginning and who is still with us to this day. Robin works for Devon Chev-Geo-Olds and is using Spanish to aid his business, but most importantly to pick-up beautiful latina women. Robin has traveled to Chile, Venezuela and Colombia. Needless to say, Robin is now fluent in Spanish and has taken advantage of our Latin American Studies Program were he enjoys learning about Latin American history, culture and the stories of don Juan de Marco.

These two great people are Klaus and Helga who have taken semi-private classes and private classes here at Canada College. Klaus and Helga at first visited Puerto Vallarta about two years ago and decided to buy a house. Now they live in Edmonton half the year and in Mexico for the other half (más o menos). For you sun-lovers Klaus and Helga rent out their house during the year so if you're interested give us a call and we'll set you up for some fun in the sun.
Finally, to those of you who are thinking about studying Spanish, English or any other course at Canada College just do it. We guarantee you'll be pleased and not only will you learn but you will also make friends and finally travel to places you thought you'd never go to.
